The KWA Sidewalk Improvement Program is a reimbursement program that provides incentives for King William property owners to make public improvements in the neighborhood. KWA will reimburse approved work at $25 per linear foot up to a maximum of $2,500. Corner lots and handicapped access may get additional reimbursement. Previously approved applications must give notice of resubmittal and receive approval for the 2009-2010 program. Project approvals are on a first come, first serve basis.
To receive reimbursement, please follow these guidelines:
- Submit a completed 2009-2010 Sidewalk Improvement Program Application and Guidelines form by January 8, 2010.
- All sidewalk work must be completed by April 1, 2010.
- Applicant must submit the final City inspection report to the KWA. The KWA will make payment to the applicant within 30 days of receipt of a final City inspection report and verification of all requirements.
